BREEZE AERMOD Parallel

When compared to ISCST3, AERMOD has proven to be significantly slower for comparable model runs. BREEZE AERMOD Parallel is a cost-effective solution designed to provide you results in a fraction of the time compared to the regular U.S. EPA version.

Do you have the need for more speed?  The incredibly fast BREEZE Remote Modeling System for AERMOD completes model runs up to 100 times faster!

Overview

AERMOD Parallel is a cost effective alternative to the purchasing new computers to combat the increased runtimes observed with AERMOD. The costly initial purchase of equipment and time consuming maintenance required to support several computers that process multiple runs simultaneously is eliminated, to a large extent, when AERMOD Parallel is used. When the costs associated with staff required to configure and maintain the computers, depreciation, and the additional hardware and software replacement costs over the lifetime of the computer are considered, the use of AERMOD Parallel makes sense.

For large model scenarios, AERMOD Parallel offers you these important benefits:

  • No changes in the science behind the U.S. EPA models.
  • Results are IDENTICAL to the EPA precompiled binary.
  • Receive the EPA (does not contain BREEZE enhancements) Fortran executable.
  • No changes to the original EPA code, only additions to implement the parallel features.
  • Performance that scales to the number of CPU's utilized. Performance is typically limited only by the number of processors/cores in a single machine, although this can be dependent upon the number of sources within a model run.
  • Works with all AERMOD input files whether they are created by BREEZE or not.
  • Reduces system costs.
1.Enables exploitation of distributed multi-processor and multi-core economics
2.Optimizes response time on available hardware configurations
3.Quick installation avoiding costly hardware / software expenses
